Private messages are great if you need a quick and private access to a specific message. Lets say I was at work and I had an important client call. Did my message get deleted? Assuming no you should still see your private messaging account on your phone. If you did reply to the message then it will show who sent the message and who received it. There should also be a message on your profile explaining that you wrote a message and it should now be private.
How many messages have I sent? Again this will all be logged in your contacts and should also show who wrote the messages. If you haven't checked your messages in a while then you may have hundreds of messages that you didn't mean to send. Eradicate those and your profile will look cleaner.
How do I contact them? By sending them a message or sending them a private message you are now able to do this. You can then advise them of any changes you make to your contacts. This removes people from your contact list without even having to talk to them!
What else can I do? You can now mark messages as unread, which will prevent other people from seeing them. You can also hide unwanted replies to messages. This can be useful if you are annoyed by the way you are being treated on your profile. You can then tell people to stop messaging you so that your profile is more private and only you and those you wish to contact will see it.
Can I block anyone from my profile? Yes, you can block anyone from viewing your profile. This will mean that they are not able to contact you and may even stop them from sending you messages.
So as you can see there are quite a few ways you can use to view who viewed my MySpace page. You can hide messages, view other profiles and block those you don't want to see. As you can see the best way to block someone is through private messaging them. But what if you are not sure who is sending you private messages? In this case you will need to use a third party solution that will allow you to see who is sending you private messages without having to reveal your identity.
